I have a kindle, as well as over a tuonsahd books in my house. So I agree with your arguments. The one thing that makes me favor actual books still, is their social aspect. Actual books you can lend and borrow. You can also check with friends what page they're on. My kindle is the second one that came out and the progress bar only has percentages. Also, it is not very smart to read kindle by the pool or throw the kindle at the wall when the book sucks.
